About
Dear Future Skydiver,
You’ve taken the first step towards what many people describe as “the most exciting thing” they’ve ever done!
Where
Coastal Skydivers are located at Port Macquarie Airport.
SPECTACULAR VIEWS OF THE COAST – NONE BETTER
What
We take off in the plane for a twenty minute ride – followed by a 35 – 40 second freefall, at speeds of around 200km/h – and a four minute parachute ride, landing under a parachute designed for two! Want to steer the parachute? All you have to do is ask!
We jump from 10,000 feet – over three kilometres straight up! The views of the mid-North coast are spectacular, and on a clear day you can see from Taree to Kempsey – and, of course, beautiful Port Macquarie and nearby Wauchope.
Training
Our staff are members of the Australian Parachute Federation (APF). You’ll be taught what you need to know about the jump in a short training session on the ground, with more in the air.
You’ll need to be at least 14 years of age, and a weight restriction does apply. The jump from start to finish normally takes just over 1 hour per person
Video and Stills Photography
Want a memory of your jump? We use proven digital cameras to capture your skydive, presented on a DVD you can watch over and over again. There’s the option of still photos too – up to 24 freefall shots on a roll of film, to develop and enlarge at your leisure. Why not have both?
